The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club is unique giving its members the use of the two fully automated coin-operated traps. These voice-activated machines allow all shooters an opportunity to use the traps at their leisure, any day of the week. Multiple shooting stations are set up for firing positions at different distances from the trap houses. There has been an addition of two more trap shooting pads at the main range, to give a total of four trap ranges to facilitate the shooting of more people for larger trap events.

Different trap shooting events are held for individual and team shooting. Adult as well as youth shooting categories and programs are available. The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club also sponsors a Junior Trap program in which young men and women can learn to shoot trap and develop their responsible shooting skills.
