The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club has a 10 bench Rifle Range and is fully equipped with soft carpet top bench rest, sand bags available for your use. The Main Range is also equipped with flashing strobe lights for elevated safety when range closed for shooters to check targets.
The Main Range targets are portable steel frame target stands to tape or staple your precision targets for pinpoint accuracy shots with that high-power scope you have been wanting to get sighted in and steel gongs targets painted in fluorescent orange for added visibility. Steel targets are set at 100, 125, 150, 200, and 330 yards.
During large trap meets there are 2 portable trap houses that can be set up on the Main Range cement pads to enable more participants to shoot trap. When using the rifle range please take care to not damage the cement pads.
The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club has a running deer target that was installed in circa 1948. The running deer is available during the annual Turkey Shoots in the months of November and December and used only on special events.
Since the inception of the Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club, the Main Range has had many uses from Small Bore Target, Warhorse Shoots, USPSA, Steel Challenge events, and NRA Hunter Education etc.
The Main Range is also home to various local Law Enforcement Agencies. All law enforcement agencies have their various procedures in tactical firearms training in defense for the very dangerous job of serving and protecting the public.
We value our friendship with the men and women of Law Enforcement and we strive to make their use of your club a friendly environment for all members of the Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club.
