Membership Requirements
NEW MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS:
1) New Membership Application:

The membership year starts when the new application has been processed by URPC.
2) Sponsorship
Any active URPC member may be a URPC sponsor. This sponsor must know you personally and is in effect signing that he/she knows you are an upstanding citizen and can legally possess a firearm.
If you do not have a sponsor: You must attend an Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club Board of Directors business meeting. Meetings are held every fourth Tuesday of each month. Due to the holidays', November and December business meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month. The meetings begin promptly at 6:00pm. You must arrive at the facility 15 minutes before start of meeting. You must have your application on file and notify the Membership Secretary prior to attending the meeting.
YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL YOU ARE APPROVED BY THE URPC board of directors.
3) National Rifle Association (NRA) or California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA)
When you join URPC you must be a member of the NRA or CRPA and you must maintain a valid NRA or CRPA membership for the duration of your URPC membership year. It is imperative that a photocopy of your current NRA, CRPA card or USPS mailing label, with expiration date is included with your URPC application.

4) Mail your application with all supporting documents and payment.
5) Required Orientation of the URPC Facility:
Once you have had notification of acceptance from the URPC Membership Secretary via email or phone, you must schedule and attend an orientation of the URPC facility. This orientation will take approx. 3 hours.
URPC communicates with members by email. Please provide an email, if possible. Once application has been received, the processing time is approximately 1 week. When your application has been processed, an email will be sent regarding the required orientation. If no email was received, check your spam/junk files. You may contact the URPC Membership Secretary at any time.

CURRENT URPC MEMBERSHIP
Renewal forms will be emailed approx. 1-2 month prior to your membership expiration date. This email will contain your URPC membership agreement and Terms and Conditions form. You must sign both documents and mail or place in the URPC clubhouse drop box along with your payment and supporting documents.
