The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club Is proud of our Helldorado pistol range which has had an upgrade of the backstop, sides reinforced with railroad ties, a steel deflector shield and sand backstop added as requested by the NRA Range Inspector to improve range safety. An addition am improved roof was installed for the shooting area to offer more shelter from the weather.
"Helldorado" is regularly used by:
Cowboy Action Shooting- Single Action Shooting Society (SAS) which meets here every third Sunday to shoot.
The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Matches are held the third Saturday of the month.
The CCW training program uses the range for their qualifying.
During the "Turkey Shoots" in November and December pistol and small bore rifle shooting events are held here for youth as well as adults to enjoy. Always check the calendar to make sure the range isn't reserved for an event use prior to coming to the club.
